Successfully hosted a small socially distanced pool party with 5 close friends that came to visit us from Maryland. Supported local business for all meals involved 🙂 Held a bonfire (the Frank special) with conversations that had us rolling over in our chairs with laughter (picture proof featured in photo gallery below).

Mom made home-cooked dinners 97 out of the 104 days we were home. If anyone has been ready for the stay at home order to end, all bets are that it’s her. Not to mention, she has journaled all the meals she’s made and has included little notes of who in the family liked what for future reference. QUEEN.

Became one with nature again. Every day we got excited about seeing baby rabbits, fawns, hummingbirds, turtles, newly hatched black-capped chickadees, and were thankful to have only seen snakes from a distance.  The bugs were not a crowd pleaser, but the rest of nature we were happy to become close friends with again.

Sunset views. Sunsets at home without city smog are a game changer.  The views were something that during the monotonous routines of quarantine, never got old.  Cloudless nights speckled with infinite stars were the bonus we could always count on.

Tie Dye- we hopped on the tie dye trend and tie dyed some apparel for ourselves and friends. If this fad doesn’t (tie) die anytime soon, hit us up for some merch!  We’ve become very well versed in the tie dye craft during quarantine.

Walked Phoebe (and our drinks) every night after dinner around our parent’s neighborhood, to the point where she will shake and throw our shoes around in the garage if we miss a day now. Sincere best of luck to the ‘rents in a few days when they now have to fill our void in Phoebe-walks. Our hearts are already broken at the thought of saying goodbye to her angel face.

Spent Mother’s Day AND Father’s Day with our #1’s – no traveling involved this year. We were already home 🙂

Made it out of the house 7 times to have a bit of human interaction at our cousin’s houses and also to go buy stuff at the local hot spot– where else – Walmart! 100% of the 7 times we left our parents, they called on average 2 times per outing. They say they’re ready for a break, but odds are Mom cries at least 6 times and Dad suggests we don’t need to leave at least 7 times when we pack up.

After 3 months of being under our parents roof and feeling like we were kids again, we took the ‘ole 1970 Corvette out for a spin on Father’s Day just like we did every summer as kids. He’s still got it!

Now… to see who sheds the most tears when we officially head back to the Big Apple this week. Who knows, maybe it will be us.
